Have a couple of doujin to add to the database, but am not good enough in Japanese to be 100% sure how to write it down (will probably have more in the upcoming days):

    のぞき見
Is it 'Nozoki Mi'? (Regarding to peeping/voyeur?)

    *edit* And another one:

    女装少年 昴くん
    Josō/Josei shōnen Subaru-kun ?

*edit again* Last one I'm going to add for today:

    馬鹿バカばっか!
Some kind of pun with baka (idiot)? Series name this doujin is from is Baccano! if that helps for context.

    *cough* Next day, new edit:

    バイオハザード メガトンパンチ 02
Resident Evil Megaton Punch 02 in English, but how should it be written for the database?

Also more general question, the term 元祖園田屋 I sometimes see with doujin in Japanese stores, what does it mean?

*last edit* Okay, this is everything for the couple of items I want to add to the database. Thanks for any help!

"Nozokimi" should be one word, I think.

"Josou Shounen Subaru-kun" (Subaru the Crossdressing Boy). The MFC romanization guidelines prefer to avoid macron.

"Baka baka bakka!". Hmm, this sure reminds me of one we had earlier in the thread.

As for the Megaton Punch one, I'm not as certain on how they want katakana romanized, but I think if it's clearly a transcription of a foreign word you keep the foreign word. Also, MFC does prefer to use Japanese names (see guidelines linked above) so you would call it Biohazard instead of Resident Evil.

元祖園田屋 (Ganso Sonoda-ya, "The Original Sonoda-ya") looks like the name of Kenichi Sonoda's doujin circle based on his twitter profile. You can find their products on sites such as Surugaya and Toranoana. I guess he's prolific if you're seeing it around a lot. As a bit of trivia, he's also involved with real confectionery shop Sonoda-ya according to Wikipedia and the doujin circle is named for the anime girls he draws for the confectionery packaging.

    Thanks for these! :)

Hehe, I'm a collector of this franchise and pick up a lot of doujinshi from it. :) Artists really like to make puns about 'baka' sounding like the name of the series next to some characters really being bakas. :)

Oh really? Hrmm, I've seen some weird names here in the database with the katakana romanized that way, but I've also seen some with the Englih name. It will probably be very weird looking if we romanize it, so I'll add it with the English name. :)

Hrmm interesting. He is definitely a well-known name, although I do not buy/collect/look for any if his works or works in similar styles. At least one mystery solved for me! *edit* Woops, seems like I was mistaken! I have one doujinshi from him on my wishlist, might be that because of that I keep finding materials related to it. :)

Hi, may I ask help for a translation for these lines?

    ◎条件
    1枚目の商品をご希望の方は1点につき5枚目以降から同額お迎え

    2枚目の商品をご希望の方は5枚目以降から同数お迎え

It's from Otamart. It should mean something along the line "if you want something from #1 page/picture/image, you have to take blablabla".

I've tried google translate, but I don't really get it. Especially for the line started with "1枚目", if I want an item from #1 image, do I have to buy:
    a) 1 item from every image started from image #5 to #8 (the last image), total 3 other items, or
    b) I only need to take 1 item that I can choose from image #5~8, or
    c) others
    ?

it would be much easier if you would link the original page.

From what you have posted, if you want Product 1, you also need to choose items from 5 or later with a total price equal or higher than 1. So for example, if you take product 1 for 1000yen, you also have to take product 5 and 6, if both are 500yen each.

To get product 2, you also need to choose items from 5 or later, with the same total amount. So for example, if you take Product 2, you also have to take one product of 5 or 6 or 7 or .....so on.

    If you still need help:

    Title is きものえ Kimono e
but in case you don't know, check that it's not actually this, which is the only one I could find on google
    きものえ弐
if it's part of a series write it as Kimono e and put the numbering as 2, if it's not part of a series it's Kimono e Ni
Your author is wrong as far as I can tell from researching it.
    doujin circle: MinusArtWorks
    illustrator: 緋色雪 Hiiro Yuki

if I have the work wrong, and you're sure, 緋色絵 is "Hiiro-e"

There are two doujinshis, one is きものえ and the other is きものえ弐. The one I want to add is: www.doujinshi.o...

The doujinshi will probably arrive tomorrow and I'm hoping that the name of the author is somewhere mentioned in there, just to make sure that everything is correct.

Oh okay, dunno how I missed that! Thanks for the link!

I checked the title case rules of the encyclopaedia, it should be Kimono E, sorry!

It's the same guy www.doujinshi.o..., so you could just add both Hiiro Yuki and Hiiro E as aliases when you're adding the author to the encyclopaedia. Listing him as 緋色絵 would be a little like how a Western artist might call their account 'Hiiro Art', but I'm not an expert on encyclopaedia standards at all, so maybe you have to list what he's credited as in the book, idk. And if it's how he's credited in the doujin...

Enjoy your doujin either way!! Hopefully the author is just listed to sort it out for once and all =)

Thanks again for your help! I really appreciate it.

I noticed that Hiiro Yuuki is actually already in the database ENTRY #18423. I will add the other name as an alias depending on what is written in the doujinshi I guess.

I posted this in the shop forums but didn’t get an answer and thought it could be asked here as well, since I guess I’m just not understanding what they’re asking me in Japanese. Anyways a copy and paste of my problem:

View spoilerHide spoilerI got a notification for my yahoo auctions account a few days ago saying I needed to confirm my email. I thought I did but last night I didn’t get my notifications from my saved searches like normal. I go to my account and see it says my email account, not my yahoo ID, has been suspended for not having been used in six months. Okay whatever, I did the thing to reconfirm it and set a new nickname for my two email addresses and everything. I still got the message
【重要なお知らせ】メールアドレス設定見直しのお願い well I go to change the settings to that the email I’ve always been using (a gmail account) as the main account to receive the notifications from and I get the confirmation. I think everything is ok but apparently it’s not because I still have that message. I feel like I’m going in a loop and I’m seriously getting pissed off. Has anyone had this happen to them? It seems like I just need to simply confirm my email address according to the message, which I’ve done but it’s just not working.

This is the notification btw auctions.yahoo....

Sorry if I shouldn’t ask this here :3 Please let me know and I’ll delete.

You are talking about the message on the main page of yahoo auctions?
I just visited the main page of yahoo auctions, and I see that message too, despite of not being logged in. So I just think that this is a general message to everyone, that there was an update to the email alerts system. Give it a while, and the message will be gone in few weeks I guess. Or are you actually having any other problems with that message? Like popping up small windows in your browser, making it impossible for you to browse yahoo auction?

Thank you! That makes sense, I have that message on my yahoo auctions page and on the header of my email. I'm finally getting my notifications again from my saved search so I guess I read it correctly and did the email confirmation it was asking about. Hopefully it does go away soon.

Have some more doujin titles I would like to get the writing of how to put it correctly in the database.

    Warning: These are very 18+

Might also add some more titles I want translated during the day while I'm busy with adding. :)

    ------------
Character's 'correct' name of writing is Astolfo for reference. :)

    #1: アストルフォ女装コスホモセックス本

    #2: アストルフォくんと年末にいちゃいちゃ過ごす本

    #3: アストルフォくんと霊子交換しあう本

    #4: アストルフォといっしょ (Astolfo to Issho?)

    ------------
This one is another one from Baccano! and could be a pun to the name (as 90% of their doujins are). :P

My Japanese is not that good, but doesn't 'hon' refer to 'book' and make more sense than 'bon'?

本 is hon yes, but can also be read as bon. It depends on the combination, what fits better hon or bon. And sex hon just sounds odd for me as japanese. When the word before hon ends with a noun, it‘s mostly bon at the end. Anime bon, manga bon, game bon etc...
