Now that I think about it, one major annoyance with their new system is that prices are no longer included in their shipping confirmation emails or invoices. This is definitely inconvenient as I sometimes use those emails to double-check credit card statements.

I noticed that also and also do not like it. I keep all my receipts for figures, dvds, etc., in one big box I can grab if my house is burning down for replacement and insurance purposes - knock on wood, of course - and now with no price on the receipt, well, that's a bummer and just another nuisance thing to have to do! :) Truthfully, I don't think this billing thing of theirs is a one off, it may be partially my credit card company's way of billing but I think it's Rightstuf's new way also. :(

Wet noodle slapping is in the future for any companies who decide to change what already works!! Change for the sake of just changing is just wrong!!

    -deleted non working link-

Thank you, Rightstuf, for listening ^^

    edit:
LOL, figures their link doesn't work! But if you look at the bottom of their page they have added a "newly added items" link to each new item
they've added previously - like before, only better because it's a working link (at least on their site ^^ ) to the item and before it wasn't.
Clear as mud? At least they listened to their customers on this issue. I don't have an eidetic memory lol and it was getting tedious trying to
remember if items where there or not before the last time I looked so I was ready to give up looking!

The new items link seems to work now: www.rightstufan...

The word from on high is that partial shipments are suspended, but will return in the future.

I made one of my first non-media orders with them and I was wondering does Right Stuf have a release date delay Aniplex+ Exclusives? If they do what is the approximate amount?
I haven't ordered an exclusive from them before and just wanted to know so I can note it somewhere. Thank you!

Just placed my first order through them because they had the best price for both Fate/Zero DVDs. It only took one day for them to ship and give tracking so I'm excited for my items to arrive. They also happened to have a one day "Fate" sale when I ordered so I saved a lot of money overall.

But I was curious how preorders work with them? Do/Can they charge you upfront like TOM or NinGenLife? I'm assuming since they're an American warehouse they get their stock 1-2 months later than most retailers.

They do not charge up front if you're using a credit card. They charge you when your items are ready to ship, but you will not get a payment request; they simply charge whatever card they have on file. An exception to this involves PayPal, as apparently if you use PayPal they collect the entire amount of the order up front.

If you're referring to figures, then yes, they do tend to get their stock a couple of months after release.

Ookay, so they do a GSC when charging you. Hm...probably wouldn't use them for preorders then. But this is good to know!

    Thank you ♥

Jus a quick update, they arrived three days earlier than expected and I couldn't be happier! They were grossly overpriced everywhere else so I'm really happy I got them for a good price + discount on Right Stuf, would not mind trying them again for more DVDs or in stock items.

So, I bought my first figure with them and... massively disappointed. The figure box came in so damaged that even the blister inside was damaged. The packaging box is okay and it honestly looked like it was packed wrong.

Luckily the figure is safe. Should I bother CS about it considering it's a Native figure? Does anyone know what their policy on damaged figures are?

Sorry to hear about your damaged figure. I've only ever bought dvds, blu-rays and manga from Rightstuf - since I'm international I don't buy from them too often as the shipping adds up, but I always find they pack stuff really well, so it's strange it would be different for figures (unless they're not packed up in the same warehouse). Rightstuf do make a point of having great customer service, the staff are always really nice the few times I've needed to contact them about changing or cancelling an order, so it is worth at least letting them know about it.

Yeah, the way they pack BRs and manga are great, but unfortunately the same method doesn't seem suited for figure boxes. Cardboard around the bottom of the figure box and the box wedged in there tight? Just asking for trouble.

Good point. I'll go ahead and contact them; if anything maybe I'll get store credit.
