Hi,so I need a forwarding service for a couple of orders while my friend isn't able to accept orders for me.
Since I'm in the UK I need to be able to undervalue on the customs form. I have checked Neokyo but they seem to only undervalue a certain % .
If somebody could suggest a proxy or middleman which won't charge me a % of the orders value that would be great. I don't need them to combine, just forward one parcel at a time.

I have bought from fromjapan for a while, they will let you choose the value you declare on the item when shipped, the shipping though I am not sure, you might need to ask them if they let you change that too, as most customs consider the shipping price value as part of the customs limit...

I personally use fromjapan and they allow you to undervalue as much as you want without a fee. However my last order was almost 2 years ago and it may have changed. I also did a lot of searching and found, at the time, that they also had the most economical fee structure for my uses.

Big in Japan (forwarder) can undervalue packages. FromJapan (proxy) will also do it depending on where you live (a friend in Canada told me the option is not available for them while I live in the US and never had an issue).

I use Tenso (forwarder) and they leave you a customs form to fill in. They have a handling fee based on the package weight qualified to international shipping, so be wary if you want to send out heavy items.

FromJapan isn't a forwarder as far as I know, they only act as proxy. I need a Japan address for the stuff to ship to , which they don't offer.

I read that Tenso's fees are high so I've never checked them out.
I'll check out BIJ as well, their website/process put me off previously.

Xpna123Hace 1 mes#79840738I read that Tenso's fees are high so I've never checked them out.Tenso fees are very straightforward - no hidden fees for additional cardboard or so. They have only 2 fees - the mentioned handling fee and a consolidation fee - 200 yen for 2 packages and extra 300 yen for every package after two of them faq.tenso.com/a...

But even with simple rules, I was thinking about changing a forwarder to another company since Tenso isn't suitable for sending heavy stuff (ex. 1,6k handling fee for a single 4kg package of items I've paid less than 3k).

Yeah the stuff I order comes in one box, but there's a lot of different items inside(including figures) so that handling fee will kill it.

That's what I used for the 4kg package. I know Tenso fees are high, but shipping via air is more expensive than them and I see BIJ doesn't offer surface mail.

Boat/surface mail usually means import fees and I need the stuff to arrive relatively fast so it's a no go for me.

I'm not sure which shipping methods are available for your country, but Big in Japan does offer DHL if you ask them in the notes section. This is more of a courtesy option they have during this time because of COVID since they normally don't offer it on the shipping page.

The same notes area if where you also request to undervalue packages. They actually undervalue automatically for forwarded packages (which is a bit annoying for someone who lives in a country that doesn't need to worry about that...)
