I have placed an order on June 13th for two items for about $850 combined.
I will update this as soon as I receive the other half of the shipment.
I have received the (automated) order confirmation email after paying for the items via PayPal.
Since then… silence.
After two weeks of complete radio silence and about 5/6 emails being ignored I filed a dispute on PayPal documenting the process of me trying to get in touch with them and left it in the hands of PayPal.
On July 6th, they got back to me saying that their warehouse was flooded but they managed to avoid any damage to the goods and half of my order had been shipped and the other half will be shipped soon.
I promptly replied asking for a ballpark ETA for the other half of the shipment.
As you can imagine they went back to their usual silence treatment until yesterday (July 27th) where they got back to me once again informing me that the other half of the order will be despatched in the next 3-5 days.
To my surprise this morning I have received the shipping notice and the tracking number.
The figures they sell are legit and some of them are pretty rare and are being sold for a really good price (IYKYK).
The thing that really upset me is the total lack of communication. If you run a company you have somewhat of a responsibility towards your customers (and the potential ones too). It really takes 1 minute in 2022 to send out an email shot saying “very sorry, our warehouse was hit by a flood, we’re dealing with this so sit tight”.
I wouldn’t be complaining about how much I had to wait if they communicated with me at any point saying “our fulfilment queue is backed up, expect delays”, even by just putting up a banner on their website, it shows that you recognise that you have customers that paid money to you and it’s your duty to keep them at least informed.
With this in mind if I will ever need to order from them again, I will basically treat ANY order like a preorder/sea mail order. Independently from the shipping method or the availability.
To reiterate, company’s legit, but it looks a lot like a side gig rather than an actual business.
I will update/quote this comment once I receive the other half of the order.

EDIT: the item arrived and there were no issues with it. Suffice to say that the shop will definitely be on my F tier list and I will get stuff from them only if I will be forced to.

reporting back on my order made on march 28th.

After a few struggle to make sure they ship my order quickly, they sent me a tracking number that was working. It left it's origine country on april 20th.

After weeks of stress, he finally arrived on june 6th.

I confirm the site IS legit, but be sure to be a very patient customer as they are not hasty to ship your orders.

ordered ITEM #676109 on the 7th of April, after I contacted them through the form on their website, they replied saying it will be delayed 15-25 days, there was a few back and forth. It shipped from HK on the 28th, arrived on the 2nd of May.

I know a lot of people were iffy about the website especially in regards to that figure, as it is very rare and it made no sense for them to have that much stock of it. I was convinced it was going to be a bootleg, but surprisingly it's the real one!

Just wanted to share my experience. Not saying you should or shouldn't order from them. I just kind of left it to fate since I used paypal, and it shipped.

Never order from AnimeNPC. It's just a scam, and I wouldn't be surprised if most of the positive reviews were just made up. I never received a figure I had ordered back in 2020. It wasn't a preorder, so the only delay at the time would have been due to the covid shipping situation. A few months after placing the order, they told me that they could get the figure shipped out in a couple of weeks if I paid an extra shipping fee. Fast forward a few months and I never got any tracking info, they stopped replying to emails, and the listing for the figure was even removed from their site. I was able to get a refund for the shipping through paypal, but unfortunately, it was too late to get a refund for the figure.

I ordered a 1/7 Jean Bart figure from them on 3/28/22. They shipped it out on 4/5/22 and I received it on 4/26/22.

They packaged the figure excessively well. 3-4 layers of bubble wrap around the figure box and it all fit inside the shipping box snugly.

Overall no issues but given all the negative reviews, your mileage may vary.

Reporting back on my order what was placed on 2nd April, it did not ship despite getting an e-mail stating that it will go out within 6-10 days. An email was sent regarding the item and did not get a respond.

I then raised a claim on PayPal on the 20th. On the 21st AnimeNPC e-mailed me stating that they require another 6-10 days to ship the item or offered a refund. I opted for the refund and it was carried out on same day.

In all, the experience was a bit rough. I took the risk myself got back my money. Do I recommend it? hmm tough one, the stock for certain items seems off and untrue. its a bit skeptical so like me you will have to take your own risk.

I cannot speak for pre-order items but you are better off with all the other options. Cheers
