i hope it becomes even more popular :3c
I’ll message you on Facebook!
I actually found Shippo annoying at first. It requires clicking through 3 to 4 screens to get a label. Paypal's improved shipping label screen is much better, with everything integrated on one screen. I would have never used Shippo if we weren't forced to use it for labels on e-bay.
However, there are features I do like. The history of labels is useful (it's hard to see a good history of just labels in PayPal). The integration with a third party insurance company (Ship Insure) and cheaper rates for that insurance (in CAD instead of USD) is very useful. I find myself insuring a lot more packages sent by small packet air, and even buying extra coverage through Ship Insure is much cheaper than Canada Post's insurance charges.
Of course the biggest thing that makes me use Shippo is the savings. There's a noticeable extra discount on expedited parcels (domestic and US). I think small packet is also cheaper than PayPal, but I'm a little unsure because there was an extra discount for quite awhile (because of the loss of light packet as an option) that I think went away.
I just wish I knew how to print labels not using e-bay sales. It doesn't seem to let me do that. So I keep generating new labels (changing the address) on old sales to get the discount. Annoying, but worth it.
I hope that helps!
I will try to start updating this again. Should be easy to do along with cleaning out my storage one box at a time... Just... time... is needed...
