Sooo I've been living in Japan for more than three years now... Loves everything about this country. Model kits and figurines are literally cheaper than food here. (sometimes) I'm actually kind of impressed how influential that the Gundam franchise is. Literally the entire country knows about Unicorn Gundam. They are still advertising the old 1979 MSG characters and mobile suits on coffee, chocolate, cup noodle, etc in the present year.
There's a lot of pop-up shops featuring a variety of franchises such as Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Pokemon, Evangelion, etc. A lot of limited edition items. Second hand stores that sell old video game consoles in near perfect condition. The things that you desire in this country will put a hole in your wallet...
Debating on whether or not to buy a decent camera...
