Comentarios Monogatari Series - Oshino Shinobu - F:Nex - 1/2 (FuRyu)

  • Shinobu's great and I love big figures but this is a pretty steep price, considering a 1/3 of a huge character like guts is only about 140k¥ not sure why this one is so expensive

I cannot grasp how big this is I need to see it next to a human being

Decided she isn’t worth that kind of money like I would rather spend it on the 1/2 scale Sonico

The new images definitely help with understanding her actual size. Totally worth it! Still a little smaller than I hoped, but she's still bigger than my cat. I'd say around the size of a small real life baby/toddler.

UnchildHace 6 meses#75891373Wow. That sounds like a total nightmare. When I tried to buy her, my credit card was frozen due to suspected fraud. It took weeks to fix things up and I lost a bunch of points off my credit score in the process. Glad that things worked out for you in the end! :)wow....i wish my mom and my sisters dad(we have different dads me and my sister but he is still like a dad to me) was as chill as your parents with spending so much on a scale figure.... They both freaked out a bit when i spent 1k on the okami statue...
So great parents for letting you loan $500 i still need $1,000 to proxy mine

BuyMyFigsHace 6 meses#75861988Welp, I screwed up with this one, but thankfully Shinobu gave me her blessing and saved the situation.
I didn't realize Solaris was taking payment up front, so I went in and placed my order thinking I had 6 months to save up for her. Needless to say I was shocked when my bank sent me an alert that a charge of roughly $2,000 was declined. I contacted Solaris and explained the situation to them, and they said they would cancel my order, but instead of fucking me out of the 10% cancellation fee, they'd put the money as points on my account to use when I reordered her after getting the full total. Before taking them up on the offer I figured I'd try to get a forward on pay from my second job (it's nice working for family because they can do stuff like that), but my dad couldn't afford to front that much and only gave me $500.
During all this, Solaris must have gotten tired of waiting and charged me again for the total amount. My bank declined it, but PayPal still processed it anyway on their end, taking the hit for the insufficient funds. I didn't realize all this happened, so I was confused when I kept getting rapid fire calls from a "telemarketer" on my cell phone. I figured the caller ID must be wrong and answered to have PayPal on the other end demanding I make good on my negative balance. I explained the situation, and told them I'd contact Solaris to cancel the order. A few days went by and I had a thought, why risk losing my preorder when it's paid for? I'll just ask PayPal if I can make payments on the total negative balance and guess what, they happily agreed! So now I have Shinobu preordered, my bank account is safe and untouched, and I'm making interest free payments directly to PayPal whenever I can and for however much I feel like, no set amount or specified date every month. It's better than repaying a credit card lol! I'll probably have them paid back by April, and I can still use my PayPal for small transactions like Crunchyroll and Google Play stuff. Talk about good luck!
