Anime, Figures and Manga For Less!
  • When I first saw Hikari in the video clip and her pose, sculptural details, great color harmony and not boring panties, I was immediately infected. Fortunately, it is such a popular figure choice that it already has many reprints! That's why I pre-ordered her. Homura wasn’t convincing enough to me, so I don’t have it and Hikari, even without her, is missing nothing!
After the last video clips, however, I hoped that the irregularities on my sample would be as small as possible or even better without. Luckily I have a bit of a bad aftertaste just because of one thing.
    So:
Fits like a glove in a cardboard box 32x22x34. The box is beautifully decorated and solid (the stark contrast to the Dustiness box!) with an approximate weight of 1.9kg.
Assembling the figure is easy, except for the sword. The handle is slightly concave, so inserting and removing it from her palm is a very tight and painstakingly task (the handle could break or at least be scratched - avoid repeating this task as much as possible)! The support for the left leg is not so annoying to me, as I prefer to see that the pose is correct and there shouldn't be no deformations over time.
If I disregard a few small flaws and one or two a little bigger, she would definitely have the best rating - 'covid' does its things regardless of customers - sigh! The figure is gorgeous nonetheless!
It has a dynamic look and there is no lack of details!! The hair is glued well enough that the individual strands of hair do not stand out except for a small crack in the back of the head, which is visible only at a certain angle and I don't really know why it's here, and the lines on the top of the head - I don't know why they aren't pulled all over surface, as this would make the appearance better and the lines less pronounced. Even the colouring is not quite ok. Uneven color shading or transitions from lighter to darker tones are a bit imperfect. But it has a lot of individual strands which is great.
The face is perfect! Facial expressions, eyes - so cute and perfect. She even has tiny earings in her ears (careful when handling).
Her body structure is where it is visible, incredibly well defined (especially the back line, shoulders, knees, breasts and a nice butt slit :)). The proportions of the whole figure is ideal. Skin color very realistic.
Her clothes and pieces of armor also have a lot of detail. Everything is almost flawless (the crystal of the armor of the left side has an unremoved tiny ball: /) and it looks nice.
The coloring is very good with the exception of a few tiny dots on the left wing ‘of skir’ and one on the right glove, which is already in a less accessible and visible place, visible only from very close. The underpants have nice details and are color coordinated - I would just like a slightly more accentuated lines.
The shoes even have soles with a profile! Sword - this one is flawless and with many details and materials and looks EXCEPTIONAL! I didn't think it could be like that good.
The base is nothing special except the square appearance and color-coordinated transparency. The irregularity is only noticeable in the not best designed part at the top of the interface (sanded plastic peg - metaly reinforced), so a slight gap is noticeable between it and the shoe.
My rating is due to many detail, color harmony and materials used, despite some shortcomings 9.5! I recommend the purchase!
btw: Nia - I'm really interested in what the prototype will look like in the end.

TheYoungPyroHace 3 meses#98312437I was wondering if it was removable because of this plastic protection. It is not written on the instructions If the figure 'obviously has protective plastic inserted' in the body parts, these parts are usually removable (assembled) there, even if this is not in the instructions. :)

KlonHace 3 meses#98312431You can remove head and waist on the Hikari figure.
Thank you very much for this information. I was wondering if it was removable because of this plastic protection. It is not written on the instructions that the waist and legs can be separated and at first try, it was resisting a lot comparing to other figures I have so I was freaking a lot.

TheYoungPyroHace 3 meses#98312429How do you remove the plastic protection under her skirt ? This is a real pain. I do not want to scratch anything with a pair of scissors and just tearing the plastic is not enough...

Finally made it through all Xenoblade games! Although Xenoblade 1 was a bit more mature over all and the stories are very similar, I prefered the story and setting in Xenoblade 2. It’s a pity the Torna DLC was so short.
