I just realized that the earlier Hancock was only 16 cm, while this one is 21 cm. So does this mean the figure scales will be quiet different and this one will be larger too :)?

meebanraiHace 1 mes#78519099Absolutely agree with this. especially that you said "wish if they made more for other characters Sulong Carrot, Germa-66, or my favorites Nekomamushi and a new release for Fujitora" I wanna add Nekomamushi & Inuarashi in my FZ collection as wellI really wish that day would happen, sooner rather than later. Would love a smiling Nekomamushi while holding his pipe!

samkaizokuHace 1 mes#78050435The me of 5 years ago would have wholeheartedly agreed with you that battle poses are the way to go (after all ONE PIECE is a shounen manga with loooots of fighting). But with battle poses comes a few risks:
1 - While at first they're super appealing (for me at least) they lose their charm after a while; the battle pose is capturing a single moment from a fight and not necessarily the essence of the character. On the other hand, simple poses, while yes simple and seemingly dull, if done properly they can last forever, imo.
2 - They always artificially inflate the total price. At Yen 5,800 (before tax & shipping), a third (maybe half?) of that price is just battle effect plastic
3 - It feels too much is happening at the same time and that can be distracting/distressing.
Sorry for the long post, I don't mean to turn this into a big argument of "simple poses vs battle poses", after all we all have different tastes & opinions and I understand that ^^' it's just that EVERYONE is pumping battle poses (Bandai, MegaHouse, Banpresto) and I just want more "relaxed" figures lol
I do like this Hancock though and I would really wish if they made more for other characters, Sulong Carrot, Germa-66, or my favorites Nekomamushi and a new release for Fujitora <3

ddarkoHace 1 mes#78050272But, the neutral/simple poses aren't that great though. Take Hancock for example. Her neutral poses are done to death and isn't very interesting. Her dynamic poses on the other hand, like this one and one you linked, are much more interesting.
I honestly wish that they would do more battle poses with all the characters (Would really love to have Germa-66 and maybe a Sulong Carrot). Since Megahouse cannot be expected to make them, we need someone to do it :)!
