ilasja (Hace 10 meses) #37563042Not sure why they chose such a dark color for the dress, maybe just to stand out from all the other human pony designs and avoid accusations of design theft? She would look better with a pale yellow dress and teal accents, it makes more sense since her pony body color is yellow and the other two they've done so far have clothing that matches their body colors.

I think they made a good choice because I think having double yellow (her and the pony) would be too much

In Equestria Girls, the human versions of the ponies have their skin color based on their pony counterpart, thus in the case of Fluttershy, she has yellow skin, so they ended up throwing in different kind of greens in her outfits for more contrast, rather than use a lot of yellow. This design for the Bishoujo is actually based on this.

Course they ditched the whole skin color thing for this line (through Pinkie Pie is close), but there you go. I think going with a darker color was a good idea either way, while having a little bit of yellow.

I really wish she had a pastel green dress and didn't have that little fringe bit. She's become the deciding factor in whether or not to get the whole set :(

I'm kind of sad there wasn't an unpainted prototype :(

They seem to only be working on one at a time and not showing more then 1 prototype.

Coiffwaff (Hace 6 meses) #43412038Oh my god yes please! Can we make it a thing to create anime figures of 80’s cartoons that would be great. (Though not for my wallet).

There is some hope, JEM is also a Hasbro property. ;-)

victheduck (Hace 9 meses) #37829919not particularly a fan of MLP but I have a tendency to lean towards aesthetics like figures with pretty color palettes, especially pastels... who am I kidding lol I’ll probably end up getting all the ponies. dammit kotobukiya

Ahah! My exact thoughts! I couldn't care less for MLP but these Koto designs are gorgeous! Great color palettes as you said... now I want JEM & The Holograms bishoujo statues! ;-)

I must say, I wasn’t aware of the MLP lineup Kotobukiya was planning. But now that Pinkie pie is out for preorder, I’m holding my breath for how Fluttershy (and Rarity) will turn out.
