It's awesome they fixed so much on the sculpt. I love how F4F listenes what the fans say.

blackhace 2 años#29389811About the F4F's sculpt, it's pretty much true, it's hit-or-miss. And they rely heavily on the user feedback from their Facebook group.
Like you, I also prefer smaller scales due to space and price, but the lack of high-end collectibles from MGS make this item more appealing.
At last, I found the redesign that they have promised for the SOCOM. I guess it's pretty much similar to the real one.

Oh well thats a great improvement i guess, but still, i hope someone other will make a smaller scale, they did one great scale for Sniper Wolf so with a bit of patience i think there might be a chance it happens.

Either way, im at least thankful for his figma, it has at least it's merits to be owned due to it's accessories like cardboard box, tranquillizer gun, assault rifle and cigs, i will never forgive GSC for making the SOCOM a pre-order exclusive, had to search forever for it...

Avolionhace 2 años#29389525I'd say it looks close enough like a SOCOM, much more so than the F4F scale.

And considering from what i have heard, their sculpting quality is rather lacking, thats why i trust Japanese companies more.
Would have been better if they did a 1/7 or 1/8 Snake with a more affordable price tbh.

blackhace 2 años#29362915The figma doesn't use the actual design of the SOCOM, it just reminds the design, just like F4F is going to do.
About the price: the scale of the statue, material and etc, everything reflects on the final price. But it's your opinion thinking it's overpriced, and I have to respect it.

Avolionhace 2 años#29319676Well i actually have his figma with the ACTUAL SOCOM(as a pre order bonus), so it's fine. Not getting this overpriced shit from F4F. :)

blackhace 2 años#29301279They have redesigned the weapon, now it's looking way more similar to the MK23. The reason for not using the original MK23 is due a licensing problem with the Heckler & Koch.

Avolionhace 2 años#29277996I totally agree mate! They are a timeless trilogy unbeatable by anything with the interpretation "gaming"!

Casatoplerhace 2 años#26472394I'm irrationally annoyed that they gave him what looks like a 1911 instead of a SOCOM.
Also, MGS 1, 2 and 3 is easily the greatest trilogy in all of gaming, if not of any medium. All three are fantastic. After 3 is when the quality gets debatable.
