I could understand $300 since she was popular and supply was lower than demand. But $800 for a nice figure without a strong "wow" factor and with, based on older comments, common flaws, such as black marks? I really hope no one buys her at that price, especially since Koto may do a re-release, particularly if they release her male counterpart.
Fortunately, mine didn't have any real flaws or marks and she's definitely a great figure for her initial price, but 800 bucks is way too overpriced. I love her, I really do, but for that amount I could buy some really detailed and awesome 1/7 scales or other large figures.
It's just such a steep increase in price for a figure that originally cost me around 80€ with customs and airmail shipping included.
I hope she gets a re-release so people who want to collect the entire series and only found out about it now can also get it without selling a kidney. But chances are definitely there with Red's re-release, especially since she's so popular. Koto would be missing out on profit.
