I'me searching for this figure and I've got a good budget for it (just...less than what dealer's are selling it for). Please send me a message if you have one for sale! I'm sure we could work something out!

WatashiwaDanieru (Hace 1 mes) #24505635No he's based on the generic japanese school delinquent/street thug and biker gangs, just like Kuwabara.

LOL, similar, but drastically exaggerated in the animes apparently...as Kuwabara and Mondo have a lot more lenghth, gonna make these RL fellows jealous.

Stacycmc (Hace 1 mes) #24500537I had no idea this was such a popular hairstyle...
It seems like Mondo Oowada from Danganrompa was pretty heavily influenced by this guy's looks (as I'm assuming Kuwabara Kazuma came first...but I could have that backwards). Even the jacket and such are similar...

It kinda breaks my heart seeing how expensive this guy is now. :( I have Kurama, Yusuke, and Hiei and I would have -loved- to complete the group, but oh my goodness. Kuwabara costs more than a lot of old Japanese Sailor Moon dolls and wands, which is kinda crazy!

I asked the Kotobukiya rep here if there would be any chance of a reprint, but I'd be shocked if that ever happens. Seems kinda like Union Creative has the license for YYH figures now, though multiple companies could have one in conjunction with them.

It's funny, though, because this is the 25th anniversary and all -- I'd have hoped for a new Kuwabara figure from someone announced this year, but I suppose he is quite unpopular after all. :(

Shadow-Link (Hace 4 meses) #21245486The exact same thing happened to me. I held out on buying because I had no space for him and the other 3 figures ended up in the bargain bin. At that point I forgot about him and by the time I decided to buy he was crazy expensive. :(
I don't think I will ever be able to get him for a good price, so I might end up selling the other 3.

Ah I would probably still like to get him if he was reasonably priced even though I've otherwised stop buying figures.

But I really like the first 3, even if I decide to offload some of my figures I'd hang on to those three.

Duomaxwe (Hace 4 meses) #21221210Ugh, I had intended to buy him when he came out, but I had stopped collecting figures at about that point because I ran out of room.
I have the original 3 characters, and I do sorta wish I'd held out and got him too.

M-Linfa (Hace 11 meses) #15280703That's exactly why, kotobukiya knew he was the least popular by looking at the preorder numbers back then, so they made very few of him. Now people that ordered them can charge any price they feel like since he's pretty rare
