i dont know if anyone mentioned it before but i think some people list it in ''owned'' if they already payed for the preorder and list it in ''ordered'' if they still have to pay for their order.

I do this. I only pre order things that I have to pay for in full upfront so if I’ve paid for something on full I sure as hell own it and mark it as own
I usually pay up front too, but keeping everything in the "ordered" tab (and just listing the "paid" date when needed) helps me keep track of what hasn't arrived yet and what I need to reserve space for. Plus, I don't have to search through my whole "owned" section every time I want to check a tracking number. I guess forfeiting organizational efficiency for the sake of principle ("I already own this!") seems weird to me, unless you have another way of doing it?

indifferent. If I pay for something right then and there I'm just going to put it into my owned tab and I know in some cases depending on where you ordered this figure people already payed for it prior to release. I was apart of the original people who ordered it from tabao so we had to pay some type of 30 dollar pre order fee but I don't really count that tbh since it's not the figures whole value and I still owe on it. Honestly though it's not a really big deal to me the site should be for more personal use of just keeping track of things you own and selling them so really they are just wasting their own time by making this odd account that has no data relating to their own collection of items.

Honestly for me, it does slightly bother me. I guess for some people it's just easier to manage their lists this way. At the end of the day, it's not my list so I shouldn't worry about it.

I think they are just too lazy.
I use the function as it should be used, it helps me to get a better overview (๑´ㅂ`๑)9 I see when I should pay for something, when a pre-order is delayed etc.

I wouldn't be so quick to rule out time travel. There could be some lucky few out there that figured it out and get to grab their figures the second after they preorder :).

Cause it's actually the manufacturer LOL. But it's probably people who are too lazy to change the status when they actually get it. Kinda annoying but not a huge deal...

Eh, it's just people being overexcited/not bothering to go through the work to change it from ordered to owned once they actually have it in-hand. I personally tend to hold off until it's actually in my hands before I mark it as owned, since there have been multiple instances where I order stuff and then it gets lost in the post, but some people don't. Plus, if it isn't released yet, then you can infer that no one actually owns it yet anyway and it doesn't really affect anything.
