So first of all you need to state what items and what store you're buying from. Some manufacturers like Alter are notorious for delays but they don't take payments since they are a manufacturer and not a store.

As many have stated, NY! is notorious for its delays and you would be best to find another store.

NO major store demands advanced payment; never has AmiAmi or 1999 asked for payment without the item ready to ship.

Tiamat26 (Hace 3 meses) #71507617So you actually will not pay them for the pre-orders you have now?
How is that going did they close your account? Or did they understand and acknowledge that you are correct in not paying .

well I send them email , and I will tell them that I paid so far for certain number of figures and you company is delaying immediately my order after receiving my payment , there for I request kindly to cancel my upcoming order payment till I get some of my payed figures .
they cant close my account when they have more than 7 figures paid off and delayed for another 4 months to 6 months . beside that do I really care if they close my account ?? hobby search band my account after doing a business with them for many years i was going through hard time , and guess what I started to do business with amiami and nippon Yasan . customers will never lose especially when you are the man or a woman with cash . one more point if I cancel 2 or 3 figures out of 10 orders I am still a very good customer .

You need to stop using NipponYaSan, it is a shady and unethical shop. Go to AmiAmi or Native shop directly. I encourage everyone else to stop using NipponYaSan as well after hearing so much horror stories. Just a few months ago another person had his ~$300 pre-order randomly canceled by NYS, and NYS immediately relisted the item for ~$400; obviously done so NYS can milk extra cash.

Right now, with yorokonde i have this issue sort of.. i dunno but it still says order processed but they send me a pay reminder? Was supposed to be combined and i have no idea if it is combined :/ so i opened a dispute so they will reply, not a case yet as i want to give em a fair chance to explain and then i keep the orders. But most likely i lose the 3 orders and wont order again.

I dont pay upfront, only with this item which was on inquiry, i had to... and so i did but also not too long before the release of the other item so that in worst case i got paypal.. sadly i actually have to use it :( would wish i could avoid this ...

If i were you, i wouldnt be ok with this. Its the reason i dont order with nippon yasan unless its like nowhere to get but even then i really consider aftersales over ordering there

They won’t do much until maybe your 10th cancellation. I never asked them I just let the order go unpaid. If you contact them they will say it’s their policy and they need to collect the money regardless of a delay so don’t bother.

I treat preorders like a slow cooker. Put money in the account, place the order, and forget all about it until I get a notice that it's being shipped. (THAT'S when I start counting days and feeling frustration! I'm not completely immune!) I try not to even look at the release date - try being the key word.

My figures are all bought/pre-ordered from local stores.
So they don't ask for payment until the item is in stock in their physical store.
I also saved up entire payment required far before the actual figure release, so I wouldn't have any problem later on.

Talal (Hace 3 meses) #71507611You are talking about Nippon Yassan , well I don’t care how delay it gets as long I didn’t pay anything for downpayment . I started to check for the figures release date .if they it is going to delay more than I won’t pay Nippon Yassan . I started to hate this company . I am trying to make order from companies that they don’t ask for payment till phically the figure available In their store .

Eccmy (Hace 4 meses) #71469698I pre-ordered ITEM #783704 at Hobby Search.
Wanted to pay her on the date of release, aka December 4th.
Go the answer a few hours later, chose a shipping option and asked for payment on December 5th, 5:00 AM Hour of Japan.
Hobby Search obliged a few hours later, and gave me the shipment's tracking number yesterday 6th. Checking the tracking on JP Post, I confirm it's in "Posting/Collection" mode since the 6th, 10:11 PM Hour of Japan.
So yeah, the Erza Orca bunnies definitely have been released.

Thank for the Update will look to see if my store releases them on Monday or Tuesday.
