    Honestly, i buy most of my item from amiami. they are much cheaper compared to other seller online. i only buy from other seller if it was sold out from amiami.If you missed a preorder, i suggest you buy pre-owned items instead. some items that are pre ordered are like pre owned items. i just don't see the difference except for some paint stains or scratch. even pre-ordered items have paint stains sometimes. It's just matter of luck with regards to buying figures

    Yeah, they're not the best shop around.
    I buy from them here and there and have thankfully only had two less than great dealings with them so far. One was an item I bought new and unopened, but when it arrived it seemed like it actually had been opened. There weren't any issues with the figure so I let it go. The second issue I had was that a figure I ordered from them came with its box almost completely destroyed. Normally I'd fault the post, but the box it came shipped in was a lot more flimsy than usual. Again the figure was fine and aside from the principle of the matter, the box being damaged didn't bother me in this case and so I again let is slide.

    They seem to be really inconsistent with their service. Personally I avoid them when I can and usually choose other shops if it's a figure I'm really worried about. I'll only really use them for exclusives I can't get elsewhere or if I'm dealing with an immediate lack of funds and need the pay-later option.

    I only use NY for rare/exclusive/limited figures. I have only used them one time and it went fine.
    I did have my problems with anime island and tsume it was really annoying, that is why I have chosen to just buy from amiami even if I pay for paper and also TOM.

Everyone's issues with N-Y are often the same, but no one ever bothers to mention what shipping service they use. I get the feeling that people are cheapening out by using uninsured methods. I've purchased 1 direct order and 2 indirect orders (paid for 2 user's pre-orders) from N-Y so far, all three being EMS. It astounds me how customers can have starkly opposing experiences from the same retailer.

    For me, I’ve had no problems with them BUT I’ve never had a lost or damaged package,or really any kind of order related issue so I can’t say much about their customer service. A lot of people are in that same boat where they haven’t had to deal with that yet so they have mostly positive experiences. I’m hoping I never have to deal with their customer service, but if it happens I’m prepared for the worst.

    Poor u. Yes, i am most definetely doomed if nippon yassan loses any of my orders, but their preorder prices are so good i can't resist...

    I only shopped at NY once, and the experience was not good. They took two weeks to ship out my in stock item and the box arrived unbelievably wrecked. Luckily the figure was unharmed. The damage may have simply been bad shipping luck, but I haven't shopped there since.
