So, I have been wanting to write a review for quite a long time already. But I never knew which figure I should review, and I ended up never starting a review. But a few days ago a friend here on MFC requested a review of Asmodeus, so here it is!
Like I said, this is my first review, so please let me know what you liked and disliked about it. Also, if there are any weird sentences or misspelled words, please let me know.

I am also thinking of doing a lot more reviews from now on. So if there is any figure in my collection that you would like me to review, please let me know too!

There is not very much known about the character of Asmodeus. All we know right know is that she is the embodiment of Lust, one of the Seven Deadly Sins. She is one of the strongest Demon King. And although she is the one with relatively the most common sense among the seven Demon Kings, she is also one of the hardest to deal with because of her attitude. (source: 7-sins.wikia.co...)

So let's begin the review with the box.

The box is made from a thicker kind of cardboard than most of the other boxes from figures I own. Because of this the box is a bit sturdier than normal figure boxes.
The design of the box is very much the same as Leviathans. On the top there is a little description of the figure and the image which the figure is based on.
The front is almost completely made from transparent plastic so you can have a good look at the figure while she is in the box.
On both sides there is a pentagram cut out. And on the back there are promo shots of the figure.

But the most important question, does the box protect the figure?
Yes, it does. The blisters hold the figure in its place quite well. So as long as you have the box the figure can be moved around safely.

But let's move on to the base:

http://s1.tsuki-board.net/upload/pictures/2013/06/23/735649.jpeg

You can choose which side you want to have upfront. On one side her name, Asmodeus, is written in a fancy heart. On the other side, Lust is written within a smaller and less fancy heart.

The side of the base.

You can also choose to display her without the gigantic base. I have displayed her without the big base, simply because she doesn't fit in my cabinet with it. So for me, I really like the option to display her without it. There is only one complaint I can make on this base.
The peg with which the normal base is secured on the big base:
http://s1.tsuki-board.net/image/thumbnails/Yoyo1371993228.jpeghttp://s1.tsuki-board.net/image/thumbnails/Yoyo1371993230.jpeg
The peg is very small, every time I disconnect or connect the two bases I am afraid of breaking it...
The peg on Leviathans base is a lot sturdier:

Now on to the important part, the figure herself.

The sculpt of Asmodeus is amazing. Almost all of the details on her are sculpted. The only decoration that is actually painted/printed on is the decoration on her skirt:

http://s1.tsuki-board.net/upload/pictures/2013/06/23/735861.jpeg

Even the pink lines on her gloves and her shirt/bra/thing are carved in a bit, though it is probably hard to see on the pictures.

One of the parts that I like about Asmodeus are her horns, they are really well sculpted and very dynamic.
http://s1.tsuki-board.net/upload/pictures/2013/06/23/735678.jpeg

Her face is also very nice. The painting is very clean and spot on.

On her wings/cape, there are a few less nice things. On one side there are a few smudges, and on the other side there is a seam line, though it is not very visible on the pictures:

Now on to the part were all the guys have been waiting for, Asmodeus without her clothes:

For everyone who is wondering, yes, her cape can be removed too. But her head is very hard to put on again, so I won't remove it. Sorry.

As you can see in the pictures, the shading on her body is quite heavy in some places. It looks really nice from a distance, but from up close it looks a bit too dark.

Overall, I really love this figure. There are a few things that are not perfect, but none of them are very noticeable. So all in all, I really don't regret this purchase at all.

Thank you for reading!

Fantastic review, the only real advice I have is to work on your pictures, some have the lights they need and look great. Others are a bit to dark an some are out of focus.

All in all nice job.

Some also like to add all sorts of hearts and centers in the text, it's an option if you want to spice things up a bit.

All in all, great first review!

Maakiehace 7 años#1573869Nice review, didn't expect you to write one! (It's fun, isn't it? ^^)
Anyway, Asmodeus has always been a bit of a so-so for me. She has a lot of plus-points (detailing, cape, horns, her face) but also some downsides (don't like her boob size personally, colouring on her bra, I think the letters of her name and sin on her base look a bit...cheap?).
I think I will only get her if I really plan to collect from the Seven Sins series, since she is overall quite nice! ^^

Haha, yes, it is indeed a lot of fun to do one, I will certainly make more :)
I actually didn't want her at first, just because of her boobs. But when I saw the others Deadly Sins I just had to have her to complete the set ^_^ I especially love Leviathan and Lucifer.

TacoStandBoyhace 7 años#1574147Damn,what a nice figure :P

She certainly is!

Tiamat26hace 7 años#1574161I regret not knowing about this series prior to them coming out. That would have made a nice collection all onto itself. Great review, hope you are getting them all. It would be sacrilegious not having all 7... HEHEH

Thank you! I will definitely get them all, I just love the designs :)

MooshiPirpy14hace 7 años#1574237She is no doubt a pretty figure, this whole line is really nice actually. Anyways, great review I really enjoyed reading :)

Thank you very much!

Orannishace 7 años#1574605I'd be interested in getting her if not for the watermelon tits. That, and a bad face are really the only two things that instantly turn me off of a figure.

Yeah, I also think they are too big, but I just love the rest of the figure, so I couldn't resist ^_^
