Admittedly, I envy those beautiful workspace or gaming station setup photos. While I stare at my wornout 4 year old Lenovo laptop that's sitting on my small TV tray table.
Eventually I am planning to make space in my bedroom and add in a table. I will fake it till I make it by hooking up my laptop to my unused Dell monitor that my dad was given from his old job. Will buy a fancy keyboard and an anime-themed mousepad to spice things up.
My goal in mind is to have a lavender and light blue themed bedroom. I realized I can even add a few figures on my silver mirror stand which I thought of getting rid of for space purposes. I think I now have an idea what my re-designed room will look like! I could rough draft my ideas in Sketch-Up.
Anyways, I am curious if there are any TV tray people out there.
Edit: I'm not a gamer. I aspire to do 3D graphics though.

tbh having a nice setup isnt as great as you might think! im a messy girl, i eat and keep a bunch of stuff on my desk and my current "cute" setup doesnt really facilitate that kinda lifestyle lol
plus if you keep a bunch of cool or cute decorations on or around your setup, dusting/cleaning is soooo tedious Thank you for commenting on this medicore article lol. Actually I need a setup just to have extra room to store stuff. Regardless of fanciness.
For an example I have this big Wacom and laptop that doesn't fit on that small portable table. Currently I lack space to store stuff
And before you say I should get boxes. Well I don't know where to get free boxes and my sleep schedule has been screwed up to go to Costco and get those black&yellow totes.
I should've mentioned that in my blog. But this was written during my 15 minute lunch break. :(

I'd really like to have a pretty painted room in the future, but considering most apartment's stance on painting... it's a long shot.
That's actually surprising to me. From my experience, standard procedure about renting is, you can paint your rooms however you like, you just have to paint them all white again when/if you leave. Has the added benefit that you usually arrive in a freshly painted apartment as well because the renters before you had to adhere to the same standards. It's not a law but that's generally how it's handled by landlords here.
I still don't really have a nice setup gaming-wise either. I put a corner table in my room in hopes to convert it to a gaming corner but it's definitely not as spacious as I'd like it and I'm as dumb as a rock when it comes to technology so building a PC is a long ways off for me rn. Plus I can't afford it. I've not given up that it'll happen eventually though, just far off if the future for me.
I actually used to have all my collection stuff set up on a TV tray/shelf though, but now I primarily use it to house my games and some of my books. Most of my figures are in a small cabinet with doors (though they unfortunately aren't airtight, so I still have to worry about dust a bit).

First i am not really a gamer, and i'm not an IT guy either. I don't know much about computers, just the basics. I have played some games in the past like GTA, Cities Skylines or Rollercoaster tycoon, god i love RCT. But other than these i haven't played anything the last 5 years. As a kid i had a PS2 and later PS3 though.
Second my room has very bad internet connection, it's upstairs and the heating doesn't work and it's always dark unless it's a sunny day (it seems i can't have decent lighting in my room because everytime i change to a strong lamp the lamp will die soon after). Also i can have more collection space if i don't have a desk there lol.
I have my own laptop, it's an Asus tuf gaming laptop despite being no gamer xD
It runs fine and i can do my everyday stuff. I most of the time sit in the living room and have a bit of a corner where i am located.
I might create a desk setup when i move houses. When i have my own house i have more space and the rooms will likely have heating and good lighting. I am currently also living with my dad (and a younger brother).
The people in my house thinned out, and my room used to be my mom’s, but she’s given it to me since she’s disabled and can’t go up stairs anymore. This was very kind and noble of her! I’m so very lucky and fortunate to have what I do, and I’m grateful every day for it! I promise you aren’t alone in those thoughts though, I think envy is very natural for everyone to have.
P.S. Dutch apple pie sounds super tasty!
