Hi all!

I just got my first ever AmiAmi pre-owned figures in today, and sadly when I was setting up one of the Figmas the stand’s peg I think was slightly too big for the hole in the figure, and it just snapped clean off the stand. Luckily not stuck inside the Figma’s back, but now I can’t set her up!
I’m going to try and glue it back together but not sure if it will be strong enough to move again.

Does anybody know how to fix this issue, or where to get replacement stands these days? I can’t get a replacement from GSC as the figure is 10+ years old and was bought pre-owned :,( The replacement stands GSC used to sell aren’t available anymore either. I don’t know what to do!! :^O

EDIT: This is what I'm working with btw

Could you buy another figma for cheap, and perhaps steal the stand from it? Mandarake has a bunch for 1,000 yen although actually if you looked around and found one that was perhaps damaged in some way you could maybe actually find one for even cheaper. I don't know though - I imagine there could be some incompatibility issues with a stand from a different figma.

SushiCathace 2 días#95216483I'm in Australia where it's super expensive to get things shipped from anywhere except here or Japan ahhh I will definitely be keeping an eye out for those though, official GSC stands would be great
I could send you a spare one for 8,89€ shipping (without tracking) if you're interested. It's an older one with straight joints and the longer peg. Not sure if that would be worth it for you.

ChibiRemihace 2 días#95216470Oh, I see. I saw them here www.archonia.co... and thought that surely some other stores still have them as well.

ChibiRemihace 2 días#95216422You could order these: www.goodsmile.i...
I think some stores still have them in stock/for pre-order.
gwendal738-2hace 2 días#95214072I've had a couple of figma stands break on me like this too. Oddly enough, my nendoroid stands are all fine, I've never broken any - but I've broken at least 2-3 of the figma stands! ><;;;
I ordered this: ITEM #71140 as a replacement and it works really well, it's a clip type tho so nothing goes in the peg in the back. I bought it around 3 years ago from AmiAmi... and it's still available! www.amiami.com/...
It does require assembly though, so you'll need some basic screwdrivers. But it's fairly easy! :D Or if you're lazy like me, you can ask your dad to put it together for you.

I think being such an old Figma the stand was probably a bit brittle, Figmas do seem to be much harder to get onto their stands in general grrr. That stand looks like a great option, I might throw a couple into my next AmiAmi order lol, thank you!

EmptyWallethace 2 días#95207728I use Krazy Glue to fix anything I break. I've broken some pegs on Nendoroids before and I just use that glue to fix it. You only need a few drops, and you have to press the two broken pieces together until the glue dries. The pieces stayed strong ever since. This is just from my experience btw.
I got some plastic-specific epoxy glue which I'm going to try, but I'm not sure if it will be strong enough to move again ;__; fingers crossed though
