  • CloudberryHace 1 mes#78415377I'll give it a shot! I've been wanting to post stuff about my Nendos but I always lack ideas on what to put on my Instagram posts.
I think this is a great idea though. I'd like to see some positivity spread — I've seen way too many toxic comments, especially about online bullying (a recent Japanese wrestler/actor committed suicide because of a scripted scene she participated in a reality TV show and she was bullied for it. Reading her suicide note tore me up).

People can be toxic, but you can only change your own actions. Last year a youtube Jen was heavily harrased for reviewing a recast. I send a message to support her, not because i approve recasts, but you should not hate on somebody making a mistake.

D_A_RHace 1 mes#78329450I think it's great that you found a way to deal with it and the idea itself might be cute and all, but I'm just gonna say it: most people are trash. As good as your message may be, it won't change anything. - Luckily you can easily cut out all the toxic people and the negativity on social media with just a few clicks. I think that's probably one of the healthiest ways to deal with it.If everyone thinks nothing will change, everything will stay the same. If one person does something different, everything might stay the same, if a lot of people do something differnt; it will change for sure.

And most people are not trash. They mostly have their own problems and feel safe behind a screen.

NemsyHace 1 mes#78328329This is cute :) I don't use much social media besides tumblr and snapchat but I know there are plenty of figure instagrams, I hope some of them participate!Np! it's the thought that matters :D and you can spread positivity in so many ways. It doesn't have to be this way.

LuminousMHace 1 mes#78328220I'm guessing it's easier to get a specific line to take off, than trying to do the same with #figurepositivity (it sounds more like a tag for body image).
Oh no, fon't let the body positivity movement hear that (since most anime figures are very skinny) people might get offended by that
lesser-robot-catHace 1 mes#78328192It just seems a little weird to have a trademark tie-in. I'm not against the idea of spreading positivity, just the commercial aspect of the tag.
I decided to use this tag because nendoroids gave me a lot of joy. I never said it would be perfect. I'm not a brand deisgner.

LittlePiscesHace 1 mes#78328471Are you going to use any platforms like Discord or make a club on MFC? I won't mind joining if only I have a lot of free time. I like the idea anyways!you are more than welcome to start it, the idea is not something I personally own; everyone is welcome to use it. I don't use discord myself.

I'm going to partake in this. I think a cool way to do it would be to talk about how each person reminds you of a certain Nendoroid or aspect of it. For example, an excited Nendoroid fp could go along with a compliment about someone's bubbly personality, or a Nendoroid holding a sword could be a compliment to someone's skill in fighting/to their tough demeanor. Just some hypotheticals. You could configure parts to create a single Nendoroid that embodies all the people and mention how they're each represented by parts of it. Then it is more tied to the theme.
