Just as an FYI: I'm not embarrassed about defending Kaneki. I just wanted to put it in there for humor purposes.

Why would you be embarrassed about that series?
It's one of my favorites, and just recently put together a proper dual-audio release of it.
Was a little lazy, and just "\an8"-ed all of Eu's signs instead of properly typesetting them :S

Well, it's a harem anime, a genre I typically don't prefer, so it's kind of full of the lewd jokes, but it's funny that most of those jokes are on the main character himself, but just seeing the type of anime, out of all the girls I favor I picked the one with the most clothes and never spoke.

illumi4Lovehace 1 año#66643088I believe he's more inline with HPD myself, sadist falls under paraphilia, and the consequences of the disorder it more damaging. So technically yeah I guess you could but like I said there are far more befitting terms, a lot of what you described like bite marks are lazily defined as sadism.
Also Kurose does enjoy embarrassing Shirotani in playful and lewd manner, but he's doing this simply because it's Shirotani's true desire and he's reframing do to trauma, as the reader we are well aware why, which is why Kurose need to be desired is clear from his past and some of his reactions with Shirotani. Example his sadness that the bond they share, is not fully acknowledged by Shirotani, his most famous qoute is "do you wish to reject, or be disgraced"
Also I just wanted to point out that the term sadist is overused, as the common person does not inquire or have knowledge about mental and social disorders, which are numerous, it's like using the term sociopath to describe someone's ideas that are slightly hedonistic, I mean technically yes I guess you could, but it's still misused.
Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed this chat, and hope you haven't taken any offense by me, if so my apologies, this was all done with good intentions and in the name of boredom after midnight, I hope I'm not coming off as a "matter of fact" jerk thanks

No, I completely understand~ I just try to make life as simple for me as possible when describing characters in sexual genres in a way that people can hopefully understand, but unfortunately, sadism is one of those highly misunderstood and misinterpreted terms, but everyone has a general idea of what it is.

SkaylerOtakuCathace 1 año#66648913Me reading this: *suprised pikachu*
Also me after reading this for third time bc my brain is in total caos (first day of new school year is tommorow so I am really depresed): I never heard someone explaining Kuruse better, damn you smart!
But I will never forget how I laughed when Kurose was all hyped for doing it and then Shirotani fell a sleep! XD OMG THAT WAS HILARIOUS!

That's because I actually knew a true sadist in real life and he explained it to me -sweats nervously-. I had known him since childhood and he was quite intelligent, especially when you consider the memories and our ages at the time. And since I actually studied a bit of psychology in high school and college (including "abnormal psychology") so I learned a bit. That's why 50 Shades of Gray is considered in the s&m community as a poor portrayal of their world.

Kaibutsuhace 1 año#66634803Concerning the comment of sadism and Kurose:
I've heard of the stigma of sadism and yaoi and the sort, but I think Kurose is technically a sadist by definition. I mean that in the most respectful way. It's a tough area, but I can try to explain to the best of my ability:
Sadism used to/sometimes is considered as a mental abnormality and can be known/defined as a very extreme form of sexual gratification, and is well-known in the world as typically men who get aroused through either rape, or inflicting pain on another or conniving the other into the act (ex. blackmailing them). Times are changing, and sadism is sort of a complex gray area now depending on who you ask. It's hard to describe, but it can be anything from humiliation, marking (love bites), dominance, control, etc. that I've noticed can be under the sadism title. Kurose, in this case, becomes aroused because he is (kind of embarrassing Shirotani) but feels like he is "tainting" Shirotani due to his mysophobia. Another way to word this is Shirotani doesn't want that, but is enjoying the act anyway, so he's not being honest with himself, which Kurose wants him to be honest with. So I guess it can be thought of as a form of humiliation or embarrassment. Also, I just woke up. My brain no good with complex topics this early in the morning. I may come back and edit this later. But that's the best way I can describe it. If I turn out to be completely wrong still, don't be afraid to send me proof of my ignorance. I can admit being wrong and defeated.

Concerning the comment on the relation between Neji and Hinata: Thank you~ As I said, I watched Naruto a loooong time ago. I actually didn't even realize Neji was killed at some point I think in Shippudden. I shall correct that, thank you~
