Since December 23, the post office told me that my package was returned to the sender, BaggageForward, because of various mistakes.

This package was delivered via e-packet. Should I be concerned that it's taking this long to get back to Japan?

I've noticed it's also taking an agonizingly long time for RSAL to teach USA. Maybe it's just me, but a lot of my packages aren't getting updated for almost two weeks. Is anyone having this problem as well? I'm going on a trip soon and I'm super hesitant to have the post office hold my mail because of aforementioned incident.

Well here's the thing: I was on vacation at the time so I used hold mail service. They made a delivery attempt scan in the morning so they could put the tracking "on hold". Didn't get pink slip. Came back, scheduled redelivery online (same address), waited for them to find it when it didn't get redelievered, and then got told it was sent back few days later without a scan due to clerical error.

My regular carrier can't tell me what went down because a sub was working that day.

Anything could've happen to it honestly but I'm holding out that it was returned on accident.

2. I contacted the seller (well, forwarder) ASAP when the post office told me that it was sent back. Haven't heard from them yet.

3. The thing is though, it got sent back without ever getting a return to sender scan. My tracking number was never updated aside from my scheduled redelivery. I'm not sure what it's doing in the system right now.

1. Packages being sent back to the sender will usually go through the same process as any other.

3. Wait, are you saying that an attempted delivery was made before they decided to send it back to the sender? Was there a parcel note left in your letterbox or front door? When you scheduled a redelivery, did you use the same address?

The time it takes to get sent back depends on where the package is. Did you contact the seller?
