Envatta (hace 2 años) #13809938Thanks for the good review. Shame some of her details are so sloppy. I will never understand why some companies use those horrible arm/claw stands. They always look horrible and detract from the figure. They should've just used a metal rod in the base or figure to hold her. I mean, there's a reason those stands are never in promo shots.

It's not enough if you fix her only at her feet, with that vinyl material the figure will bend with time.

    Ryukosama (hace 2 años) #13806594Nice review :)
I have to say, too, this figure is just not good :/ I'm a huge Sonico-Fan and her other colour-variant was on my wishlist for a looong time.
But a few weeks ago my mother bought this version for my sister and I was able to sneak a peak on her...
You're so so right with your first paragraph. The proportions on this figure are off. Sonico has huge bazoongas and I like that, but here it's just too much... The ratio is not right.
If you touch her and lift her, it just feels like a cheap figure. I know, she would probably cost way more if she was massive instead of empty, but it doesn't support the feeling you get enough for the amount of money you have to pay for her (which is a lot)....
And the paintjob is not good either :/
And @EurAsianGirl she can't stand alone. She already seemed a bit wobbly with stand, but I can only speak for the one I saw.
Tbh I was sad when I saw her, I was really disappointed. I kicked her of of my wishlist (saved me a lot of money tho).
Now, I didn't want to speak ill of this figure or denigrate it, just wanted to state my opinion. After all it's Sonico and she is huge, I give her that xD If you don't mind not so great quality and got a pile of money just laying there in the corner, go get her :D

Yeah, I agree with you. The sellers don't care about quality, they just speculate even if she's not difficult to find.

EurAsianGirl (hace 2 años) #13796562Can she stand on her own? Without the base?

FigyourEd (hace 2 años) #13769993That's a common problem with many large scale figures 1/4 and up. The paint detail tends to be a little sloppy and almost always high gloss and plastic looking. I guess because there is more surface area to cover and these things are mass produced.

This one might be gloss because she's supposed to be on the beach and it is an attempt to replicate oil or lotion on her skin. I have quite a few 1/4.5 scales and larger and none of them have a gloss finish except their eyes.

I have the other version of it and to remove the head you're supposed to twist and pull, not just pull. I'd assume it was the same for this figure since it's essentially just a re-paint, I could be wrong though.
