Where To Display Your Figure Collection?Where To Display Your Figure Collection?

Hi Everyone,

It was my original intention to post my first MFC blog at the weekend in order to present my July (Part 1) AmiAmi loot haul, but with a haul expected to arrive every month until Christmas (haha), I'm curious to know where and how you all display your anime figure collections...?

Although I've only been collecting since February this year, I now have around 20 figures that I am displaying throughout my living room, and this number is going to grow rapidly over the next couple of months. As you can see in the pictures below, I have set up a couple of shelves to display a selection of my figures (the blank shelf will soon be populated by my July haul figures!), but as I live in my own home, I think my spare room will probably end up being converted into a full blown Otaku Room. I do however like the idea of displaying many of my figures in my living room as this is where I spend most of my time - and it also makes for a great topic of conversation whenever someone pays me a visit.

So, onto my question to you all, how do you present your figures? I presume if you live with your parents, for example, you may have your bedroom as your display area, but if you have your own home, then which rooms do you use, and do you all have shelves or glass display cases, for example? And who out there displays their figures still in their boxes...?

As this is my first blog, I hope it's not too long and you find it in any way interesting. Thanks for reading and if you would like to leave a comment then that would be really appreciated!

Look forward to sharing my loot hauls with you soon.

Ricky.

Glass display cases are definitely on my future purchase list, as I am sure they will come in very handy as my collection grows in size.
Glad you like the game collection, I sometimes wonder how I manage to put the time in to play them all.... however since I started my figure collection earlier this year, I've had to try and balance my time between video games, anime series and figure collecting! Almost an impossible juggling act!

I know how that feels!! It's very hard to balance that and when you finally have time, you wonder "hmmm what game do I play" haha I've been collecting games for years but I don't have any xbox games... yours is a master piece! haha
