  • gamergibbonshace 6 años#1944664That was very nice of them to do so, it's good business practice. Keep us posted on the repair status!

Posted an update! I probably could've kept the figure in slightly better condition had I been more careful, but at least the hand is now back in place.

Ugh, so I used some citrus cleaner (which I think is alcohol free, not sure what else is in there) on a tiny spot and now a bit of her left boob is shiny D: Why am I such n00b at this?

I was thinking a very light coat of some clear coat would help conceal this shiny spot, but dunno if it's worth it. I looked at Mr. Top Coat, Mr. Super Clear, and there's just too many options (semi-gloss vs. matte). I have no idea what kind of paint is on this either, so I don't know how to proceed. Anyone have any tips?

mMmOishihace 6 años#1944589I attempted to return the figure for a full refund, but the seller ended up giving me a full refund while telling me to keep the broken figure so I obliged. I'm kind of surprised...

gamergibbonshace 6 años#1943809Good luck on the repair! My first figure was the Gutto-Kurro Motoko Kusinagi and she's one of my favorite figures! Super poseable and comes with several accessories : 3.
Honestly though, if the figure came broken, you need to contact the company you brought it from because it wasn't listed as having the hand removed. Coincidently, I had a 2011 Racing Miku with the same issue, only in the hair. Fortunately, the store owner (since I brought it locally) was nice enough to exchange her for the 2012, so you never know!

Epoxy is an excellent option, you have already pin it, right? if for some reason epoxy isn't available, a small drop of CA glue should be enough.
