I think I'll call him Billy Legman. Todd McLegs. Leggy Kneeson. Longlegs O'malley.

Got him today! He looks much better in person, and I think I prefer his unmasked face lol anyway, I think 100€ is too much for this figure, but well :/ he and Anne will be the end of this hobby

marseille (hace 7 días) #27158288The difference in price between Small Packet and SAL Parcel is big, so 4300yen doesn't look absurd to me. Whether a figure fits in the SAL Small Packet or not is a bit tricky because it depends on the destination country and how the it's going to be packed in the shipping box. I don't know the figure's box measurements, but my guess is that Zenmarket probably is packing it tight in a smaller box while Jpn-depot is putting in a bigger box. Now, which one is better is debatable, because while you save some good money in a smaller box, you're taking the risk of having the figure's box damaged if anything bad happens during the transit.

I agree with marseille on this one. I used JPN depot as well and my total shipping was 4248yen(including all the fees) for SAL parcel but I did ship it with a bunch of my other small items as well. Shipped on September 27 and got to me on October 11 (I only went and picked it up today though). My other small stuff aside, I was curious so I measured Joker (with the bubble wrap).

The measurement of the figure box alone will fit in a SAL small packet for sure but when we take the extra head part into consideration, the package measurements (including the bubble wrap) are around 33cm X 28cm X 27cm = 88cm(with probably +-0.5cm margin of error). In order to qualify for small packet, the total has to be below 90cm and below 2kg. So in theory if you ask them to repack to fit small packet, it is probably doable. However, given that you only have 2 to 5cm(max) of space to play with, it's hard to say if they will do it (you need to take the outer box into consideration as well).

Furthermore, the condition in which my box arrived does make me a bit glad I didn't ship him alone using small packet. The box was squished on the sides but Joker's box was fine. If it was a tight fit, I think Joker's box will get some damage (that happened with Shanks I brought from Play Asia a long time ago. It was a tight fit and the figure was fine but the box was so damaged, it is essentially a write off). So yea, I think it's debatable and ,depending on how much risk you are willing to take, can be shipped with SAL small packet.

Lireli (hace 9 días) #27106194Did anyone get KotoJPs forwarded? I'm trying to get it forwarded but the company I am using (jpn-depot) says the cheapest method is 4,300 yen and he doesn't fit in any Small Parcel. Doesn't make sense as I've never really had any single figure packages not fit in SAL unless they were monstrosities.

jrk42293 (hace 8 días) #27145541Yeah I used the same service and used the same shipping with the same price. Really regretted it. Expensive and slow. My friend Lavenza here recommend Zenmarket to me as a proxy. It looks incredible. I definitely won't use Buyee again. The absolute worst. I had to talk them out of their own absurd policies. Shipping alone was $48. They wanted me to pay a secure repacking fee on top of that, which they told me would also raise the weight by 1-2 kg. Hahaha. No. It arrived to them wrapped in bubble wrap, but zero padding, just tumbling around in there so I finally got them to just put some newspaper around it. (For free.)
