The 1/6 scale is either misinformation or someone needs to explain to me what it means exactly. The figure is the same size as my 1/8 figures.

According to AmiAmi delayed to August; good for me as July was crowded!

[Edit] ... aaaand, re-released today, September 9th 2012. Can't wait for her! But September may prove to be my busiest month this year, figure-wise :(

glockenpopThinking about getting her, but have never dealt with coldcast figures before, are they as brittle as resin?
I also read about gluing her parts together, is this required? If so what glue is suggested?

While I cannot speak specifically on this figure, I have owned a few cold casts. They are extremely fragile from my experience. They are the type of figure that you put in a glass cabinet and then keep from handling unless necessary. That is not to say they are like porcelain, but do not expect them to have the kind of "flexibility/forgiveness" of PVC figures. While a PVC figure can survive being dropped, it can be a death sentence for a cold cast figure. There are some great cold casts out there, and I would not try to deter you from buying this figure (I plan on getting it myself), just realize that you need handle them with care.

As for glue, hopefully someone with more experience can chip in. Personally, if I "have" to use glue I use a light type of "crazy glue" that is applied with a thin brush. Honestly though, there is only a couple figures I have ever used this on...and they were actually new PVC figures that arrived with a limb that became unattached in shipping.
